Time to join the rest of the Universe and begin my blog site.
Today, I speak to the American Legion representing American Military Family. I attended the mass swearing in of over 120 US ARMY recruits last night. That was an amazing sight to see. Lots of proud parents and I couldn't help but think back when both Matthew and Ryan first enlisted and how young and naive to all this they were and of course our entire family was also. We've all grown since then, traveled a rough road and that journey still continues. With family we can survive the journey because we all make it together.
That is the theme of my speech today. I usually wing it but I have jotted a few notes down so I won't forget some key important facts! I'll let you know how it goes.
